Along with the whole nation, we at St John's Kirk of Perth mourn the death of HM The Queen, strong and faithful servant to the UK and Commonwealth for so many years. We send our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family.

For those who would like to watch the Funeral Service for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth within a sacred space, St John's Kirk will be open on Monday 19th September 2022 from 10am and the Service will be shown in the Kirk on several screens live, from Westminster Abbey, starting at 10.45am as her majesty's coffin is brought to the Abbey on a 123 year old gun carriage, until its completion at 12noon with the two minutes silence followed by Reveille, the National Anthem and the lament played by the Queen's piper.

 

All are welcome to remember Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth and to be part of the National Funeral Service for the Queen in a Church which she has visited during her long reign.

 

Throughout the period the kirk will also being opening its doors to the people of Perth, and visitors to our city, to come in for prayer and light a candle.

For those who would like to watch the Funeral Service for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth within a sacred space, St John's Kirk will be open on Monday 19th September 2022 from 10.00am and the Service will be shown in the Kirk on several screens live, from Westminster Abbey, starting at 10.45am as her majesty's coffin is brought to the Abbey on a 123 year old gun carriage, until its completion at 12.00 noon with the 2 Minutes Silence followed by Reveille, the national anthem and the lament played by the Queen's piper.

The Kirk will be open, whenever possible, between 11am-4pm for private prayer, signing the book of condolence and lighting of candles
