WELCOME  --  to St. John's Kirk  A Church at the heart of Perth, Scotland. This site is in English only, but visitors to the Kirk will find information sheets in French, German, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Swedish, Russian, Japanese, Czech and Polish. We want to share our Church with as many people as possible.
	THE LAMP OF FAITH has burned here for nearly 800 years. St. John's is a congregation of the Church of Scotland, part of the Reformed tradition, and welcomes everyone to its Services. Each Sunday, Holy Communion is celebrated at 9.30am, and there is also a Service at 11am, with choral anthem. Click here for more on the ministry and life of St. John's.
The Kirk (the Scottish word for `church')  welcomes visitors to its Services. Individuals and groups are also very welcome to visit at other times when the church is open.  Click here for details. 	Within a rich history one event stands out, JOHN KNOX preached here in May 1559,  adding impetus to the Reformation in Scotland.    more
