If you are near either of the town-centre bridges over the River Tay you are very close - just look for the distinctive grey spire with the cockerel weather vane. There are two multi-storey car parks close by, but access to St John's Square for vehicles is controlled by a permit system |

The Kirk is a working Church, but is open to visitors whenever the Church Officer is present. However, if a morning service, funeral, or wedding service is in progress, visitors will be asked to wait until it finishes. Guided tours for groups can be arranged in advance. A charge of £2.00 per person is made and each tour usually lasts about 1 hour. The content can be varied to suit special interest groups - please ask!
St. John's Kirk is the venue for concerts and drama productions throughout the year, but especially during the Perth Festival of the Arts in May - to link to the festival web-site click here.
Weddings - Couples who wish to be
married in the Kirk should make contact with the Locum Minister in
the first instance.The fee for those who are not members is £375.
Choirs and orchestras. The charge is, at
present, £375 to cover heating and lighting for an evening
performance and 3 hours rehearsal time; also an attendance fee for
the church officer. A piano is available at an extra cost of £75
and the group is responsible for having the piano tuned, if they so wish.
